冼基社区是广州市荔湾区岭南街道辖下的社区，居委会设在冼基西28号。[1]名称来自辖内的冼基东、冼基西等街巷，“冼基”是冼姓族人在旧堤围边聚居之处。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

2002年，社区由原岭南街第九、第十两个居民委员会合并设立；2014年清华居委会并入，名称未变。[1]

荣誉[edit]

广州市住建部门于2021年11月将其列入当年的绿色社区名单；2024年广州市充分就业社区名单于2024年11月公布，社区在列。[1]

文化[edit]

冼基、清平、沙基、和平四个社区一带规划建设岭南中医药文化街区，微改造项目位于广安钱庄旧址的建设控制地带内，2025年5月广州市文物局原则同意其设计方案（第二稿）。[2]
