西澳村是福建省宁德市福鼎市龙安街道下辖的行政村，位于龙安开发区东北部、沙埕港南岸，八杨公路穿村而过。村委会设在西岙，全村下辖七个自然村。[1][2]

地名由来[edit]

村子所在山形似狮，原称“狮澳”，后谐音改为今名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

土改时期此地为沙城区的西澳乡。1958年并入巽城人民公社，1961年归店下公社，设西澳大队，1987年改设西澳村民委员会。[1]

人口与生计[edit]

党员32名，全村1173人、292户。村民靠海上网箱与虾塘养殖、养蜂谋生，也有不少人外出打工，村子面朝沙埕港。[1][2]

荣誉[edit]

2020年12月，西澳村列入「2019年度福建省“一村一品”示范村」名单，主打大黄鱼。2021年11月，福建省爱卫办授予该村「2021年福建省卫生村」称号。2022年3月，村庄获评「2021年福鼎市平安村（社区）」。2025年11月，西澳村获认定为「福建省第二批省级乡村振兴示范村」。[1]
