龙安开发区是福建省宁德市福鼎市下辖的地区级开发区，位于闽浙交界处的沙埕港西岸，今为龙安街道的辖区。开发区于1999年被宁德地区行署列为地区级开发区，2025年析出一个社区和六个行政村设立龙安街道后，原管理委员会改制为街道办事处。[1][5][6]

历史沿革[edit]

此地原为杨岐垦区，划归店下镇。1991年，围垦工程完成堵口。1998年12月，管委会经福鼎市政府同意成立，辖地随之从店下镇分出。1999年6月起，宁德地区行署定其为地区级开发区，管委会拥有正科级的管理权限。[1][4]

地名原作“龙庵”，因旧码头附近的一座庵堂而得名。人口聚集后，群众认为应改用更吉利的名字，遂改为“龙安”。[1]

2025年1月，宁德市和福建省人民政府相继批复设立龙安街道，区内一个社区与六个行政村划归其管辖；福鼎市政府网站所载省政府同意的时间为2025年2月。街道于2025年4月2日挂牌，办事处设在龙华社区安洋西路205号，即原开发区管委会办公楼。[5][6][7][4]

地理环境[edit]

辖区总面积25平方千米，其中海域面积10平方千米，海岸线长11公里。港内水深流缓，避风条件好，不冻不淤，不受潮汐限制，是沙埕港建造深水码头的适宜地段，杨岐码头即在此。[2][5]

人口民族[edit]

各资料所载人口数不一：博雅地名网概况页称现有人口2.8万人，街道页又作约1.65万人，两者均未注明统计年份，本条目不取其数。[1][2]

龙安街道由龙华社区和六个行政村组成，六村为玉岐、杨岐、桑杨、涵头、江南、西澳，各村另有条目。[3][4]
