地名与历史沿革[edit]
村名与海边的一口井有关：涨潮时，井中会有鱼，故名。[1]
1968年为渔井大队，1984年成为渔井乡，1987年设渔井村民委员会。[1]
自然地理[edit]
村域有马屿山、官才山、跳尾岛、鳄鱼岛四个岛屿。海蚀地貌较为突出，渔井码头有航线通往嵛山岛。[2]
经济[edit]
村民经济以种植业、海水养殖与捕捞为主。[2]
荣誉[edit]
2025年3月，村被认定为「福建省第一批省级乡村振兴示范村」。2022年11月，村列入「2022年福建省金牌旅游村」名单；2022年10月，被认定为「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」。2021年6月，村入选「福建省第四批省级传统村落」名单。2021年11月，福建省爱卫办命名本村为「2021年福建省卫生村」。[1]
