历史沿革[edit]
村名的来历是村民委员会原驻地设在瑞云寺。[2]
瑞云一带1952年设乡，1958年改为生产大队，1987年成立瑞云村民委员会。[2]
少数民族与文化[edit]
村中畲族文化浓郁，保留了传统服饰、民俗与手工艺。每年三月三、四月八、七月七是传统的对歌节，畲族群众着盛装聚于瑞云寺周围对歌。“四月八”牛歇节已列入国家非物质文化遗产。[2][3]
瑞云寺[edit]
瑞云寺始建于后晋天福元年（936年），据博雅地名网所载，居福鼎六大寺之首。寺院为园林式布局，不走中轴对称的常规；寺内长廊长五十余米，寺前有古枫，寺后有千年银杏。[2]
荣誉[edit]
2025年5月，村入选「福建省美丽乡村示范村」创建名单。2021年11月，福建省爱卫办命名本村为「2021年福建省卫生村」；2021年12月，被评为「2021年宁德市乡村文化振兴示范村」；2017年3月，被国家民委命名为「第二批中国少数民族特色村寨」。[2]
