地名与历史沿革[edit]
村子位于海湾边，周围绿树丛生，故以“青湾”为名。[1]
1987年设立青湾村民委员会。2021年11月，福建省爱卫办命名本村为「2021年福建省卫生村」；2022年3月，被命名为「2021年福鼎市平安村（社区）」。[1]
自然景观[edit]
鼻尾岛从青湾山中部探出海面，长600多米、宽60米，三面临海，形如鼻子。岛上林木茂盛，有小道直通岛尾，尾端的小山丘可以远望海上的核电站。[2][3]
白沙一带有一片千米沙滩，夏季游人较多。赤屿有天后宫，据博雅地名网所载，相传庙已有千余年历史。[2]
经济[edit]
海上养殖紫菜是村中的主要产业，村民也捕捞鱼苗与蟹苗。[2]
