嵛山镇是福建省宁德市福鼎市下辖的镇，位于福鼎市东南海域，辖区即嵛山岛一带的岛屿。镇名源于大嵛山的地形，山形如盂，后取谐音雅化为「嵛」。明代起，嵛山岛是扼守闽浙海路的要地；清代中叶，岛上又曾是海上起义的根据地。[1][2][3][4]

历史沿革[edit]

1389年，明朝在嵛山岛建起军事要塞，受北路福宁卫烽火寨统辖。1592年，岛上的守备改由参将担任，兼管水陆防务。[2]

清代中叶，嵛山列岛成为蔡牵海上起义的重要根据地。辛亥革命先驱朱腾芬也曾在岛上组织义军抗清。[2]

1955年1月，岛屿改由霞浦县海岛区管理。1962年10月，岛屿从霞浦县改属福鼎县，由秦屿区辖，同时成立嵛山人民公社。1982年至1983年间，各公社改称为区，嵛山即在其列。1992年11月，省民政厅批准嵛山撤乡建镇。[5]

嵛山镇先后获得数项荣誉：2014年9月，环境保护部授予其「2012年—2013年度国家级生态乡镇」称号；2015年7月，嵛山镇入选「第三批全国特色景观旅游名镇名村」示范名单；2022年3月，被命名为「2021年福鼎市平安乡镇（街道）」；2024年1月，被命名为「2023年福建省卫生乡镇」。[1]

地理环境[edit]

嵛山岛群统称福瑶列岛，由十一个岛屿和九个礁石组成，其中嵛山岛为闽东第一大岛。大嵛山岛上最高处为洪纪洞山，海拔541.3米。[6][7]

周边海域出产鳗鱼、带鱼、毛虾、七星鱼等海产，岛上另有花岗岩、矿泉和草场资源。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

岛上天湖一带有万亩草场，山顶的大天湖与小天湖湖水清澈，周围山峰倒映湖中，形成「天湖泛影」景观。[7]

大使澳沙滩在马祖村境内，离岛上码头步行约十分钟，沙滩旁有飞瀑，跳水漳是大嵛山岛上最大的溪流。[7]

灶澳村一带有羊鼓尾军事旧址，保留着上世纪五十年代建成的营房、战壕、炮台、哨所和防空洞，地下另有防空隧道。[8]
