南贝村地处闽浙交界，离管阳集镇22公里，下辖11个自然村。村名的来历是村南有一条小溪，后写作南贝。[1]

为保护南溪水库的水质，村中禁止养猪、养鸭，也禁止向溪中倾倒垃圾。[2]

1972年设南浿大队，1988年起有南浿村民委员会，2017年改称南贝村民委员会。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2022年3月，村庄被命名为「2021年福鼎市平安村（社区）」。[1]
