沈青村位于管阳镇东北部的闽浙交界处，距管阳镇所在地22公里，与浙江省泰顺县柳峰乡相距约1公里。村中有一座明代古城，村名相传由一位巡检小吏的美名而来。[1][2]

地名与古城[edit]

村名的来历是，古时此处立有城池，驻有巡检小吏，他为官清廉、断案清楚，地名因此叫做「审清」，后演变为沈青。[1]

村中的沈青城建于明正德六年（1511年），城墙以毛石砌成，高约3.5米，西半截平地，东半截依山。[1]

人口与产业[edit]

村子平均海拔700多米，全村辖11个自然村。博雅地名网载，村中有耕地860亩，林地3000亩，数字未注明年份。主要产业是农业、种植业与养殖业。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1952年设沈青小公社，1969年为沈青大队，1983年改为沈青乡，1987年起有沈青村民委员会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

沈青村在2022年10月经福建省农业农村厅认定，列为「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」。省爱卫办于2021年11月授牌，沈青村成为「2021年福建省卫生村」。2022年3月，村庄被命名为「2021年福鼎市平安村（社区）」。[1]
