七蒲村位于管阳镇北面约7公里处，管阳至泰顺的公路穿村而过。村名的来历有一个传说：村后山势如同七只蝙蝠飞下山洋，后人便以方言中称蝙蝠的「蒲」字为名。[1]

村中林地较多，茶园、毛竹与马铃薯是主要作物，村民有种植西瓜的传统。村内有茶叶加工厂。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

1952年设七蒲乡，1976年为七蒲生产大队，1983年又恢复乡建制，1987年起设七蒲村民委员会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2022年3月，村庄被命名为「2021年福鼎市平安村（社区）」。[1]
