广化村位于福鼎市西北部，距管阳镇约3.5公里，管沈线从村境穿过。村名来自村中的广化寺。[1]

历史沿革[edit]
土改时期此地为广化乡。1961年设广化大队，1987年10月设为广化村民委员会。[1]
文化[edit]
广化寺为隋代开皇二年（582年）所建。村中还有宋代陈桷的墓。[1]
荣誉[edit]
省爱卫办于2021年11月授牌，广化村成为「2021年福建省卫生村」。2022年3月，村庄被命名为「2021年福鼎市平安村（社区）」。[1]
