章边村位于管阳镇集镇一带，博雅地名网称它为全镇第二大行政村，104国道穿村而过。村名源于原村旁的一棵樟树。[1]
人口与村域[edit]
博雅地名网载，全村有3886人，其中张姓约占八成，下辖28个自然村；村域土地面积19.3平方千米，海拔560米。这些数字未注明年份。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1956年为章边乡，1962年成为章边大队，1987年起设章边村民委员会。[1]
文化[edit]
村内有碧峰张氏与晏溪张氏两座祠堂，另有康安宫、金峰宫、极乐寺与望里寺等庙宇。碧峰祠前有两棵雌雄银杏。[2]
荣誉[edit]
2023年10月，章边村被认定为宁德市「一村一品」专业村；同年12月，又被认定为福建省「一村一品」专业村，产业为槟榔芋。2022年3月，村庄被命名为「2021年福鼎市平安村（社区）」。[1]
