管阳镇位于福鼎市西部，地处闽浙交界一带，西与柘荣县接壤，北与浙江省泰顺县相邻。镇内下辖27个行政村。[1][3][6]

镇名的来历是古时境内多鹳鸟栖息，「鹳」与「管」音近，地名由鹳洋、鹳溪等叫法演变为管洋，民国时期改「洋」为「阳」。[1][3]

历史沿革[edit]

福鼎置县后，此地属十六都。民国元年（1912年）设管阳区，新中国成立后一度归点头区辖制，1950年另设管阳区。[3]

1958年改设管阳人民公社，1961年复为管阳区，1968年又改回公社，1983年起重设管阳区建制，1987年起称管阳乡。[1][3]

1993年初，管阳乡改建为镇。[1][3]

地理环境[edit]

境内以山地为主，大小山峰有144座。海拔超过千米的有四座，依次为牛舍尖、东山、梨头峙与王府山，其中王府山高1113.6米，为全镇最高。大部分行政村位于海拔600米左右的地带。[4]

地域面积，百度百科载为196.48平方千米，博雅地名网载为197.22平方公里，两者所据年份均未注明。[1][4]

104国道穿镇而过，管沈线省际公路也经过镇域。气候属海洋性季风气候，无霜期在228天以上，年均降雨量约2040.8毫米。[4]

雁溪位于溪头村境内，是管溪的一段，全长约7公里，溪水自东向西流，河道先后出现7处90度转向，形成一个典型的「牛轭」状弯道。河床上分布着第四纪冰川遗迹，有冰臼群和串珠状的犁沟。[5][8]

福鼎市政府发布的行政区划表（2025年6月4日发布）列出管阳镇辖27个行政村，博雅地名网另载全镇有211个自然村。[4][6]

西昆村于2012年12月列入首批中国传统村落，金钗溪村于2013年8月列入第二批，两村都在管阳镇内。[2]

文化[edit]

西阳村的西阳线狮是当地颇有名气的舞狮艺术。线狮以单狮为主，由狮笼、狮身、狮球和绳索四部分组成，两名舞者分别操控狮球与狮子，乐队随行伴奏。表演套路有出洞、钻穴、登山、飞岩等，一场可演出17个节目。[7]
