位于点头镇西南部的举州村，距镇区约7公里，离福鼎市区约22公里，是1988年由大坪乡划出设立的行政村。[1][2]全村辖10个自然村。[1]

连山吴厝[edit]

村中的连山吴厝建于清乾隆十一年（1746年），与翠郊古民居并称「姐妹楼」。院中仍保存着先辈留下的匾额等文物。[1][3]

据博雅地名网，该建筑占地约15亩，主体为三个三进合院，厅堂一进比一进高，木雕饰品精美。[4]百度百科载该建筑2013年列入福鼎市文物保护单位。[3]

村域面积4.23平方千米，常住人口938人，畲族168人。[1]

百步溪上游流经全村，溪长约4公里，沿溪形成四个溪塘。[4]

荣誉[edit]

2017年开展美丽乡村建设后，举州村先后获「福建省创建无邪教示范村」「福鼎市绿色防治（专业化）示范村」等称号。[1]

2019年6月，举州村被列入「第五批中国传统村落」名录。[2]2021年，获评「福建省卫生村」。[3]

2022年3月，举州村被命名为「2021年福鼎市平安村（社区）」；2023年2月，入选「福建省第三批高级版绿盈乡村」。[2]
