过笕村位于福建省宁德市福鼎市点头镇西部，是百步溪上游的一个行政村，距集镇约10公里。[1][2]全村辖9个自然村，共339户1390人，其中畲族15户63人。[2]

地名[edit]

旧时用竹笕引水灌溉，村子正处于竹笕经过之处，因而得名。[1]

地理与农业[edit]

村地处丘陵，村民以农耕为主。境内有生态公益林约2100亩，水田1360亩，茶园2800亩。[1][2]

茶叶是传统经济作物，也是村民的主要收入来源。林业部门确定本村为茶树优质品种「华茶1号」的大白茶原产地。[1][2]

传说[edit]

据博雅地名网所载传说，清代竹兰头村人陈焕家贫，曾斋戒三日上太姥山求问，经托梦指点，在家对面的山岗找到一棵茶树，后培育出大白茶。[3][4]

荣誉[edit]

2024年1月，过笕村被命名为「2023年福建省卫生村」；2022年3月，被命名为「2021年福鼎市平安村（社区）」。[1]
