地名[edit]
村名来自溪畔的柏树与柳树。[2]
茶产业[edit]
村内茶园面积近4000亩，每年育苗近400亩，有茶厂6家。村里的白茶专业合作社2008年被评为省级示范社。[2]
大白茶是国家茶树良种，本村是其原产地之一。[2]
2009年，中国国际茶文化研究会的专家组到村考察后，认定柏柳村为「中国白茶第一村」，据博雅地名网所载。[2]
村民梅相靖获得国家级非物质文化遗产传承人称号，所传承的是白茶制作技艺。[2]
历史与传统村落[edit]
2019年，柏柳村列入第五批中国传统村落名录。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2021年，柏柳村获评「福建省卫生村」。[1]
2021年12月，被命名为「2021年度福建省森林村庄」；2022年10月，经福建省农业农村厅认定，列入「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」。[2]
2022年3月，被命名为「2021年福鼎市平安村（社区）」；2023年2月，入选「福建省第三批高级版绿盈乡村」；2025年11月，被认定为「福建省第二批省级乡村振兴示范村」。[2]
