历史沿革[edit]

镇名的来历有两说。据百度百科，旧名“店头”，因位于孙店之外，店与点方言读音相近，后写作“点头”，扆山在镇中耸立，故别称扆山；博雅地名网则另记一说，取魁星执笔一一点头之意。[1][2]

清代福鼎置县后，此地属十五都。民国时期先设点头区，1940年改设点头镇；1949年复称点头区，1958年改为人民公社，1961年又恢复点头区，1968年再为公社，1983年复称点头区，1987年改为点头镇。[2]百度百科对其中1961年、1968年、1983年和1987年的记载与此相同。[1]

镇域位于福鼎市中部，东面近海，西北部为山区。镇境面积，百度百科载为118.74平方千米，博雅地名网载约109平方千米，两者均未注年份。[1][2]

产业与物产[edit]

镇内农业以水稻、薯类和小麦为主，兼产茶叶、黄豆和蔬菜；水产有蛎、蛏、蚶、虾和跳鱼等。[2]白茶是镇内的主要特色产业，多次被列入全国性的产业名录。[2]

文物古迹[edit]

点头妈祖宫始建于明代，清康熙年间重建，乾隆二十年重修，占地527.5平方米，宫前大埕开阔。[4][5]2009年，该宫经福建省人民政府公布，列入省级文物保护单位（第七批）。[4]福鼎市政府的文物名录将其写作「点头马祖宫」。[7]

点头烟墩为市级文物保护单位。据百度百科，烟墩为明嘉靖年间抗倭时修筑的石构方形墩台，高约3.5米。[6][7]

荣誉[edit]

2021年10月，点头镇经农业农村部认定，列入「第十一批全国一村一品示范村镇」，产品为白茶。[1][2]

2021年10月，点头镇入选「2021年全国乡村特色产业十亿元镇」；2023年3月，又以白茶产业入选「2022年全国乡村特色产业产值超十亿元镇」。[2]

2020年、2021年和2022年，点头镇先后三次列入「淘宝镇」名单。[2]

2021年5月，点头镇入选「2022年度福建省乡村振兴示范乡镇」创建名单；2025年11月，被认定为「福建省第二批省级乡村振兴示范乡镇」。[2]

2022年3月，点头镇被命名为「2021年福鼎市平安乡镇（街道）」。[2]
