棠园村位于白琳镇西北部，东侧接车洋村，西侧与牛埕下村相邻，南侧连着翠郊村，北边与点头镇为界。村子距福鼎市区35公里，距白琳镇区约10公里。[1]

村域位于太姥山脉向西北延伸的部分，四周为山地丘陵，地势有一定高差。[1]

地理环境[edit]

翠郊溪从村域西南部穿过，村内建有李下溪水库。村域面积6.4平方千米，耕地约3200亩，山林地约6300亩，基本农田保护区约1600亩。[1]

受中亚热带海洋性季风影响，气候温和湿润，雨量充沛，冬短夏长。[1]

人口与行政区划[edit]

2012年底，全村535户，总人口2050人，其中畲族230人。村下辖13个自然村。[1][2]

产业[edit]

村民以种植水稻和茶叶为主，经济林木有松树和毛竹，茶叶和水果是本村的农业特色。[1]
