日澳村隶属福建省宁德市福鼎市太姥山镇，为一个行政村，位于镇东北部，三面环山，面向秦川湾，距镇中心约3公里。[1]

村名取环山面海、地形如“日”字之意。1987年改为日澳村民委员会。2024年6月，村列入福建省第四批高级版绿盈乡村名单。[1]

地名由来[edit]

村子环山面海，外形呈“日”字，故名日澳。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1968年，村自屯头乡分离，设日澳生产队；1987年改设村民委员会。[1]

2006年台风“桑美”过后，村民大多集中迁往海尾新村。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2002年至2011年间，村多次获福鼎市“文明村”称号；2012年获福建省“生态村”称号。[1]

2021年2月，村在福建省2018至2020年度省级文明村镇社区的名单之内。[1]
