小筼筜村隶属福建省宁德市福鼎市太姥山镇，为一个行政村，村子在镇西南一带，离集镇约8公里；三面群山环绕，另一面朝海，与牛郎岗景区遥遥相对。[1][2]
村名为与店下镇筼筜村相区别而称小筼筜。村内保留有明代古城堡和摩崖石刻。1989年村民委员会设立，2021年11月，村获评2021年福建省卫生村。[1][2][3]
地名由来[edit]
地处海滨，相传原有三个小土堆，且盛产大竹，故称“筼筜”。为与店下镇的筼筜村相区别，此村称小筼筜。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村史可追溯至明代。据百度百科，明洪武二年（1369年）设福宁卫，派军队守备此处；清康熙年间，郑、毛、陈等姓先民迁入定居。[3]
名胜古迹[edit]
村内留有明代古城堡和摩崖石刻。虎头岩是村内的摄影胜地。[1][2][3]
荣誉[edit]
2023年2月，村列入福建省第三批高级版绿盈乡村名单。[1]
2024年2月，村入选第二批福建省乡村振兴示范村镇的创建名单。[1]
