蒙湾村隶属福建省宁德市福鼎市太姥山镇，为一个行政村，位于镇东南方，与宁德核电站所在地交界，属沿海渔业村。[1]
村名源于村前沙滩上生长的成片芦苇。村民以海上捕捞和养殖为主。2024年1月，村获评2023年福建省卫生村。[1]

旧时村前沙滩上生有成片芦苇，闽东方言称之为“芒芊”，地名由此而来。[1]

村原自巨口村分出一部分，随后又有分离，最终于1987年设立村民委员会。[1]
