东埕村隶属福建省宁德市福鼎市太姥山镇，为一个行政村，位于太姥山镇与硖门畲族乡交界处，毗邻牛郎岗旅游区，距集镇约4.5公里。[1][2]
村名由“丁家埕”演变而来，因闽东方言中“丁”“东”同音。1988年村民委员会建立。2024年1月，村获评2023年福建省卫生村。[1]
地名由来[edit]
最早居住在此的是丁姓人家，此地原称丁家埕。闽东方言里“丁”与“东”音近，地名就变为东家埕，后简作东埕。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1952年为东埕乡，1958年改为东埕生产大队，1984年又恢复为东埕乡，1988年才转为村民委员会。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2024年1月，东埕村获评2023年福建省卫生村。[1]
