巨口村隶属福建省宁德市福鼎市太姥山镇，为一个行政村，位于镇东南方向，离集镇约3公里，福宁高速公路和省道沙吕线穿境而过。[1][2]
村名由旧称“渠口”简化而来。村在1950年为乡建制，1987年改设村民委员会。2021年11月，村获评2021年福建省卫生村。[1]
地名由来[edit]
白岩山下的双叉港，一支通向樟岐村，另一支是本村群众的用水渠道，村名原作渠口，后简作巨口。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村先为巨口乡，经公社、生产大队等阶段，于1981年重新称乡，并于1987年转为村民委员会。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2021年11月，巨口村获评2021年福建省卫生村，由福建省爱卫办公布。[1]
