建国村隶属福建省宁德市福鼎市太姥山镇，为一个行政村，位于镇中心，临晴川湾，前身为建国渔业村。[1]

村名取“勤俭建国”的寓意。1979年12月，村因社会主义建设中的突出成绩获国务院嘉奖。2024年1月，村获评2023年福建省卫生村。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村的组织形式经历了多次变化：先后为互助组、初级社，继而为渔社、建国队，1982年为建国渔业社，直至1987年才定为村民委员会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

1979年12月，村因在社会主义建设中成绩突出，获国务院嘉奖令。[1][2]
