太姥山镇是福建省宁德市福鼎市下辖的镇，位于福鼎市东南部，背靠太姥山脉，东面临海。镇名取自境内的太姥山风景名胜区，2011年以前称秦屿镇。[1][2]
镇域内有以峰石洞雾著称的太姥山风景名胜区，牛郎岗海滨度假区也在境内。在省级乡村振兴示范乡镇的年度名录中，本镇于2026年1月列名。[3][4]
历史沿革[edit]
清乾隆三十一年（1766年）设秦屿巡检司，此后这一带以秦屿为名。1940年建镇，同样称秦屿。新中国成立后，这里一度划为区或改设公社，1987年重新定为镇。[1][3]
2011年，经福建省人民政府批复，秦屿镇改称太姥山镇。[1][2]
地名由来[edit]
太姥山原称太母山，据传汉武帝时将“母”字改为“姥”，此名沿用至今，镇名由此山而来。[3]
地理环境[edit]
镇域在福鼎市东南部，东面临海，隔着海与大嵛山遥对；南面连着硖门畲族乡，西面挨着磻溪镇，北面是白琳镇。陆域面积为119.08平方千米，另有43平方千米海域归其管辖。[1]
人口民族[edit]
2025年末，全镇户籍户数15642户，户籍人口55731人。[8]
名胜古迹[edit]
太姥山风景名胜区的核心游览区约24.6平方千米，山石峰峦奇特，山间布有一百余处相通的岩洞，登顶可俯瞰东海上的岛屿。[4][2]
国兴寺遗址在太姥山风景区范围之内，列为省级文物保护单位。此寺创建于唐代乾符年间（877年），南宋淳祐四年（1244年）毁于大火，现存七根大石柱及一座七级八角实心石塔。[5]
