巽城村是福建省宁德市福鼎市店下镇下辖的行政村，位于店下镇西北部，东面临海，是镇域北部的区域中心。明清时期，这里是福宁古道上的重要集镇和渡口，村中至今保存着古道节点、祠堂与清代大厝，2011年被评为福建省历史文化名村，2012年列入第一批中国传统村落名录。[1][2]

地名来历[edit]

村名与八卦方位有关：村子位于八卦中的东南方，即「巽」位，又因明代已在此筑有城堡，故称「巽城」。[1][2]

渡口与交通[edit]

巽城渡又称海尾渡，位于巽水入海处北侧、沙埕港内港西岸，始建于明代。18世纪后半叶（约1767至1772年间），巽城何氏开基祖何启龙与子孙相继开辟小巽、前岐、桐山、水流美等渡口的航运。清代闽浙之间的小宗货物多由此渡装卸，至2003年高速公路通车前，仍有客货船往返于前岐、城区一带。今天，巽城渡码头尚存，海尾路、海尾路亭和巽城桥等古道节点建筑也留存下来。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

宋明以来，巽城一直是福宁古道上最重要的集镇之一。从桐山（福鼎县城）出发，经水路横渡沙埕港内港，在巽城渡登岸，再过巽城桥，即可沿陆路前往秦屿、霞浦。[2]

清初实行禁海迁界，沿海的巽城堡一度荒废。康乾复界之后，林、陈、何等大姓陆续迁入，经营茶叶、制饼和航运，巽城重新兴旺，逐渐成为福鼎重要的商埠和五大茶叶集散地之一。清末，巽城茶商林嗣元倡议、筹募资金，成立了宁帮茶商公所。[2]

传统建筑[edit]

随着商业积累，各大姓陆续兴建大厝。留存下来的清代建筑，今分别称「陈氏三大厝」「林氏大厝」「何氏大厝」与「施仁泰大厝」。据《巽城散记》所述，保存较完好的大厝尚有一二十座，此外还有何氏、林氏、陈氏祠堂。[2]

村中统计，传统风格的建筑及文物（古道、渡口、桥亭、祠堂等）共有61处。[2]

革命史迹[edit]

新中国成立之际，国民党林德铭「搜剿队」残部退守巽城，据守何氏宗祠及附近炮楼。浙南游击纵队第一支队第二大队配合鼎平警卫队、工人纠察队将其攻克，巽城因此解放。今何氏宗祠即为巽城战斗遗址，南面山墙上留有近百处弹孔。[2]
