地名由来[edit]
此地原先是海边的小岛屿，故得名「屿前」。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
土改时屿前属屿前乡。1963年设店下公社屿前大队，村民委员会则于1987年10月设立。[1]
鼎平办事处旧址[edit]
博雅地名网称，屿前村曾是闽浙边革命的区域中心之一。1935年，南榜山一带设立鼎平办事处，由闽东特委领导，指导福鼎、平阳两地的革命工作。全村有据可查的革命烈士17人。[2]
1984年7月，县委与县政府在遗址立起「中共闽东特委鼎平办事处遗址」纪念碑；1987年，碑旁增建纪念亭。此处既列为市级文物保护单位，也是爱国主义教育基地；福鼎市政府网站所载市级文物名录中，列有「鼎平办事处旧址」。[2][3]
荣誉[edit]
2021年11月，屿前村获「2021年福建省卫生村」称号。2022年3月，村子又获「2021年福鼎市平安村（社区）」称号。此外，村子曾获「宁德市文明村」称号，并得到「福鼎市先进基层党组织」的表彰。[1][2]
