交椅坪村属沙埕镇，村子伸入黄岐半岛的突出部，在沙埕港西南一侧，共4个自然村。村民靠近海捕捞和养殖紫菜谋生。[1]

村子隔海与渔山岛、宁德核电站和鸟岛相望。[1][2]

地名与沿革[edit]

村名「交椅坪」源于村中央一块形似椅子的石头。[1]

新中国成立后，村子先归黄岐乡所辖。1960年，此处成为沙埕公社下的交椅坪大队，1987年才设村民委员会。[1]

产业[edit]

近海渔捞之外，本村还出产野生小黄鱼、鲈鱼等海产。农业以地瓜为主，地瓜粉为特色农产品。[1]
