村名[edit]
村名源于附近的沙滩上有许多白鹭。[3]
地理环境[edit]
村落背靠山岭，面向大海，距太姥山风景名胜区约15公里。村前沙滩面积约2.5万平方米，天然海水浴场面积达25万平方米，沙滩宽而软，潮水平稳。[2]
经济与旅游[edit]
紫菜、海带和贻贝是村里的主要水产品，百度百科载海上养殖面积达3600多亩，近八成劳动力从事渔业及海上养殖。[1]
村里依托滨海资源建成海滨度假村，配有民宿和餐饮等设施，是福鼎市主要的海滨度假旅游村之一，也是太姥山风景区「山、海、川、岛」四大旅游休闲基地之一。[1][2]

近年来，小白鹭村先后被评为「福建省最美休闲乡村」「福建省乡村振兴实绩突出村」「福建金牌旅游村」。[2]
