水生村属福鼎市沙埕镇，处在闽浙交界，与浙江苍南县沙岭村相邻，村子向内通沙埕港，向外临东海。村中分为七个片区，另有一个虎头鼻农业自然村，是福鼎市重点渔业村。[1][2]

村名与建村[edit]

村名「水生」的来历，据百度百科说，早年村民的祖先长期住在连家船上，解放后才上岸定居，因而取名。1987年设立水生村民委员会。[1]

人口与渔业[edit]

关于户数与人口，百度百科载全村712户、2850人，博雅地名网载880户、3150人，两者年份均未注明。[1][2]

村里拥有大小渔船95艘，从事海水养殖。2023年获评福建省「水乡渔村」休闲渔业示范基地。[1]
