吴家溪村位于前岐镇东北部，与浙江省苍南县矾山镇毗邻，村名取自最早在此居住的吴姓人家。[1][2]

地理环境[edit]

村内以山坡地为主，海拔约300米，对外交通只靠一座石桥，当地俗称心脏桥。[1]

每逢大雨，村中容易发生泥石流等自然灾害。[1]

人口民族[edit]

少数民族居民约占两成，且均为钟姓畲族（博雅地名网所载，未注年份）。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1988年，吴家溪村由大路村分出，单独设村民委员会。[1][2]
