龟岭村地处前岐镇东北部，北与浙江省矾山镇交界，距前岐集镇约5公里，村名因山形似龟而来。[1]

村内杨梅是前岐杨梅的主产区之一，另有茶叶与蘑菇种植（博雅地名网所载，未注年份）。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1988年，龟岭村由西宅村分出，另行设立村民委员会。[1]
文化[edit]
2003年4月，村里成立龟岭村科技协会。[1]
2021年11月，龟岭村被福建省爱卫办命名为「2021年福建省卫生村」。[1]
