村域方圆6.8平方公里（博雅地名网所载，未注年份），南面与福鼎市佳阳乡蕉宕村交界，是前岐镇沿海片区的中心村之一。[2]
经济[edit]
2012年村民人均纯收入为7537元，村民收入以外出务工和农业种植为主，种植东魁杨梅、毛竹、茶叶、四季柚、水蜜桃与蘑菇等。[2]
