地名与地理环境[edit]
村庄位于大山之间，河流较多，故称何坑。[1]
水北溪上游贯穿全村，村庄距浙江省泰顺县约30千米。全村下辖17个自然村。[2][4]
历史人文[edit]
1938年11月，中共福鼎县第一次代表大会在本村犬盘温自然村召开，此地是粟裕、刘英、王烈评等革命前辈开展斗争的根据地之一。[2][4]
革命烈士杨秉和为本村人，1943年8月，他担任福鼎县工作委员会的副主任，1944年8月在嵛山岛牺牲。[3]
2005年，本村被共青团福鼎市委命名为「青少年德育教育基地」。[1]
经济与荣誉[edit]
村内主要出产板栗、槟榔芋、黄栀子、雷竹和马蹄笋。[2]
国家经贸部于1983年授予槟榔芋「优质出口农产品」称号。[4]
2010年4月，村中成立鼎农槟榔芋专业合作社。[2]
2021年11月，本村被命名为「2021年福建省卫生村」；2022年3月，被命名为「2021年福鼎市平安村（社区）」；2025年11月，被确定为「福建省2025年度省级一村一品专业村」（槟榔芋）。[1]
