排头村属贯岭镇，位于镇域西北部山区，西面与北面和叠石乡相接，东边紧挨透埕村，南边是何坑村。村庄距贯岭镇约9千米，距福鼎市区约12千米。[1]

地名与历史沿革[edit]

村中有一条小水渠，方言称水坝，村庄建在渠首，名为坝头，后方言音近写作排头。[1]

1959年组建排头大队，1987年改为排头村民委员会。[1]

地理环境[edit]

村内下辖13个自然村。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

金山头自然村存有1936年6月中共闽浙临时省委扩大会议旧址。[2]

村中保存清代刻制的「禁乞碑」，碑文以劝赌、禁乞、劝人为善为主要内容。[2]

文化[edit]

村内流传木偶戏，并有民间艺术「彭彭鼓」。[2]

经济与荣誉[edit]

村内出产槟榔芋、黄栀子和茶叶。[2]

2024年1月，本村被命名为「2023年福建省卫生村」；2022年3月，被命名为「2021年福鼎市平安村（社区）」。[1]
