地名由来[edit]
村庄旧称秀岭，古时与贯岭并称；因村民口误，后沿用透埕之名。[2]
博雅地名网则说，村名透埕来自旧时大屋正门直通大埕的格局。[1]
地理环境[edit]
水北溪流经村中约5千米，溪岸两侧林木较多，秋季有红枫。全村下辖10个自然村。[1][2]
人口与姓氏[edit]
2025年11月，福鼎市人民政府网站载，全村622户、2039人，党员51人。[2]
王氏为村中主要姓氏，据博雅地名网所载，其始祖于五代后周时由桐山西园迁来。[3]
百井坵自然村为郭姓回族聚居，两三百年前北方回民为躲避战乱迁居于此，村中保有山歌、服饰等民族特色。[2]
名胜古迹[edit]
北岸的西峰寺为千年古刹，始建于五代后梁大通年间。[1][2]
南峰山留有宋代古山寨遗迹。[1]
历史人文[edit]
二战时期，本村曾为闽浙边临时省委机关驻地。[1]
经济与荣誉[edit]
村内沙质土壤适宜槟榔芋生长，本村是省定名优农产品福鼎槟榔芋的主产地。[2]
2021年11月，本村被命名为「2021年福建省卫生村」；2022年3月，被命名为「2021年福鼎市平安村（社区）」。[1]
