铁塘社区位于福鼎市城区东部，隶属山前街道办事处，社区名取自旧村铁塘底。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
博雅地名网历史沿革一栏写的是2012年自山前村析出，随即建立铁塘社区居民委员会。[1]
该网站简介部分则写作2015年4月，山前村与石亭社区经过重新划分，形成铁塘、山前、石亭、程家洞四个社区。两种说法并存。[1][3]
2022年3月，社区被命名为「2021年福鼎市平安村（社区）」。[1]
