桐城街道是福建省宁德市福鼎市下辖的街道，办事处驻地距市政府约2千米。街道北与桐山街道交界，东与山前街道相连，南接点头镇，西与管阳镇毗邻。[3]

截至2011年末，街道总人口为64200人。[3]

历史沿革[edit]

1982年7月，桐山公社划出19个大队，组成桐城公社。其后1983年设桐城区，1987年为桐城乡，直到1993年3月才设为镇。[1]

1998年10月，福鼎市撤销桐山、桐城两镇，分设桐山、桐城、山前三个街道办事处，桐城街道由此设立。[1][3]

地名来历：街道政府驻地原在桐山城内，因此简称「桐城」。[1]

2022年3月，街道被命名为「2021年福鼎市平安乡镇（街道）」。[1]

福鼎市人民政府公布的行政区划表（2025年6月4日发布）载，街道辖8个社区居民委员会和14个村民委员会。[2]

文物古迹[edit]

玉塘城堡位于玉塘村，明代所建，2013年列入福建省第八批省级文物保护单位。[1][4]昭明寺塔位于柯岭村的昭明寺内，2009年列入福建省第七批省级文物保护单位。[1][5]
