桥头村是桐山街道北部城郊的行政村，位于福鼎市区北郊。村名来自附近一座乾隆年间建造的汀洲桥。[1]

村内有一座清代石板桥，村中的惠明寺每年农历三月初三举办庙会。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

土地改革后，这里属山前乡；1958年属山前大队，之后又改为山前乡。1998年2月，桥头村从水北村分出，设立桥头村民委员会。[1]

2022年3月，桥头村被命名为「2021年福鼎市平安村（社区）」；同年10月，福建省农业农村厅认定其为「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」；2024年6月，村庄列入「福建省第四批高级版绿盈乡村」名单。[1]

经济[edit]

村民以农业为主，种植茶叶、槟榔芋、杨梅与黄栀子等，茶叶是村中的支柱产业。[2]
