浮溪村属福安市湾坞工业集中区，又称白溪村、浮溪境。村子坐落在湾坞半岛南端突出部分，与霞浦的盐田港隔海相对。[2]

据载，古代有浮溪水在此注入大海，村因此得名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1929年置浮溪乡，1946年改设浮溪保。1960年隶属白溪小公社，编为浮溪生产大队；1966年划入湾坞公社，称浮溪大队。1984年转为村委会，此后沿用至今。[1][3]

2008年，福安市委确定浮溪村为社会主义新农村。[2]

地理与景观[edit]

村境海岸线长约3.5公里，有滩涂8000亩、浅海3000亩。[2]

村境内的自然景观有笔架峰、仙宫山与莲花屿。莲花屿是礁石岛，岛上多礁石，鸟类在此栖息。[2]

经济[edit]

村子以水产养殖为主，海带养殖是其主导产业。[2]
