赤溪村位于松罗乡西南部，东接王棣村，西邻王加村，北连尤沃村，南面则是杜坑村。[1]

村名的来历：宋代迁居此地，村前有溪，溪中石头呈红色，故名赤溪。[4]

历史沿革[edit]

赤溪的隶属变动较多，先后在第五区、第十二区与松澳区之间调整，1962年划归赛岐公社。1966年11月松罗公社成立，赤溪为其下的大队。[3]

1983年10月，大队改为村；1984年撤销大队，设立赤溪村民委员会。[3]

经济[edit]

村民种植葡萄、茶叶，也在林下养殖土种山羊与本地土鸡，并套种羊肚菌。[2]

文化[edit]

村中有赤溪龙井，属自然景观之一；博雅地名网述及《福安县志》，记有当地流传的木龙传说。[2]

2017年，赤溪村被确定为省级美丽乡村。[2]
