柳溪村位于松罗乡东部，与霞浦县西胜村相邻。全村辖柳溪、周坑、柳厝、下洋新村四个自然村，是省定革命老区基点村。[1]

村名取自柳姓：柳姓人迁居于此，村边有一条溪，因此得名。[4]

历史沿革[edit]

博雅地名网述，柳氏先祖于唐武德元年（618年）由浙江温州府平阳迁入福建，定居于此，当时名为翥坑。[3]

1984年，柳溪大队改为村，划入松罗乡。在此之前的1967年，它是松罗公社下的大队。1961年改属松澳区，1954年为溪柄区辖地，1950年隶属松沃乡，1929年设柳溪乡而归赛岐区，更早在1455年时属用儒乡仁风里二十七都。[3]

经济[edit]

村民主要靠茶叶和葡萄增收，村里的合作社还带动农户种植珍稀树种、晚熟巨峰葡萄。[2]

文化[edit]

民国二十三年（1934年），叶飞、曾志与任铁峰等革命领导人长驻柳溪，带动一批进步青年投身革命。他们设立福安县苏维埃政府岗面区，又与农民救济会、红军后方医院合作，组建红色政权。[2]

其间为革命献身的进步青年有50多人，新中国成立后均被评为革命烈士。[2]
