牛落洋村是松罗乡东南部的行政村，离乡政府驻地约2.2公里，下辖孟尾与牛落洋两个自然村。[1]

村名的来历是一则传说：古时此地下大雪，一头牛落入湖中，故称牛落洋。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村子的前身是1966年11月成立松罗公社时设立的牛溪大队。1984年改为牛溪村民委员会。2013年1月，福安市人民政府批复将牛溪等九个村民委员会更名，本村改称牛落洋村。[3]

经济[edit]

村民的主要收入来自茶叶、葡萄和毛竹，村里设有茶业与养殖两个专业合作社。[2]

文化[edit]

2021年11月获福建省爱卫办命名，称号为「2021年福建省卫生村」。[1]
