洋西村位于松罗乡东南部，是全乡最大的建制村，辖照镜、大湾两个自然村。[1]

村名取自地势：村子位于田洋的西边。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1958年设立孟洋乡时，洋西成为一个大队。1961年7月，大队划归松澳区西岭公社，1962年改属溪柄区。1966年11月溪柄区撤销，洋西大队改属松罗公社；1984年改为村民委员会。[3]

经济[edit]

村里的特色产业是葡萄与茶叶，以葡萄为主；葡萄大棚下套种羊肚菌和蔬菜。[2]

村中还保留传统的火笼工艺，沿街店面与农贸市场带动了商贸的发展。[2]
