石尖村在康厝畲族乡境内，村东的山顶上有一块石头，形状尖朝天，村名由此而来。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
早年归牛岭尾乡所辖。1961年归渡头小公社，称石尖大队；1966年并入渡头大队，1977年又分出为石尖大队；1984年设石尖村委会。[1]
文化[edit]
2021年11月，石尖村被福建省爱卫办命名为2021年福建省卫生村。[1]
