王楼村系纯畲族村，村子沿留洋公路分布，离乡政府约11公里；村辖王楼、小村、林洋湖三个自然村，属福安市穆云畲族乡。[1][2]

村名的来由：村子在大王东山南麓的山脚，早年有人在此搭寮开荒，故称。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

土改时归下逢乡管。1961至1966年间归下逢小公社，1966年下半年划为王楼大队，1984年起改设村委会。[1]
