南山村位于穆云畲族乡中部，沿穆蟾公路分布，是畲族村，其下设下南、四下坵、金贝下三个自然村。[1][2]

村名的来由：村庄位在山的南面，故名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

解放初期，此地归咸福乡。1961至1966年间划入咸福小公社，当年7月又并为咸福大队。1979年，南山由双溪大队划出，另设南山大队；1984年改设村民委员会。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

南山村与白云山景区的咸福服务区毗邻。白云山景区于2014年6月被列入「国家4A级旅游景区」。[3]

文化[edit]

福建省爱卫办于2021年11月，把南山村定为「2021年福建省卫生村」。[1]
