黄儒村位于穆云畲族乡北部，海拔六七百米，山势陡峭，村落依山靠崖，四周被毛竹与森林环绕。[1][2]

村名的来由：村庄四面山岭回环，当地俗称“陂”。据博雅地名网，乾隆版府志写作“宏儒”，光绪版县志写作“横儒”，土改后定名黄儒。[1]

人口民族[edit]

据百度百科，村中丁姓为回族，祖先系阿拉伯人后裔，从泉州陈埭迁来，元末明初定居。到嘉靖三十九年，丁尚宾来到黄儒村，被视为此地开基的祖先。百度百科称该村是闽东唯一的回族村。[2]

经济[edit]

毛竹加工是村里的支柱产业，村民多以竹篾制作为业。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

土改时此地归黄儒管辖。1961至1966年间归溪亭小公社，1966年下半年起称黄儒大队；1977年脱离高岭大队另设黄儒大队；1984年改设村民委员会。[1]

因地质灾害，全村迁出，在桂林秀溪洋等地安置于“造福工程”新村。[2]

福建省农业农村厅于2022年10月作出认定，黄儒村为「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」。[1]
