八斗村是福建省宁德市福安市范坑乡下辖的行政村，位于乡境北部，北接寿宁县，东连浙江省泰顺县，距乡政府所在地21公里。村名原作「北斗洋」，后缩写为八斗，新中国成立后正式定名。全村下辖5个自然村。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村名的由来：原名「北斗洋」，几经演变，人们将其省作「八斗」，新中国成立后定为今名。[1]

唐末，始祖自霞浦七岩定居于此。村子原属上白石公社，1983年村委会设立，此后名称未变。[1]

人口与产业[edit]

博雅地名网载，全村下辖5个自然村，共398户、近1486人，其中八斗行政村本村180户、730多人。现有耕地1029亩，多为梯田或旱地。[1]

主要出产太子参、茶叶，并种植水稻、蔬菜供村民自用。[1]
