范坑乡是福建省宁德市福安市下辖的乡，位于福安市北部，与寿宁、柘荣两县及浙江省泰顺县接壤，交溪依傍境内流过。1985年由上白石乡析置，下辖17个行政村。境内山高坑深，以茶叶、油茶和中草药为主要产业；乡政府网站称乡境属福安市唯一的省定老区特困乡。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

名称来历：博雅地名网称，始居此地的是范氏族人，因地处条山坑内而取名范坑；百度百科则记为最早由寿宁县下房村的范姓人氏定居于此。[1][4]

1949年10月，今乡境属第二区公所；1958年9月划归上白石公社，1984年10月改属上白石乡。1985年4月，上白石乡析出17个村民委员会，另设范坑乡。[1][4]

革命年代，叶飞、曾志、陈挺、范式人等人曾在这里从事革命活动。[2]

2015年，范坑乡被列为省级生态文明乡镇；乡政府网站称，乡里正积极申报国家级生态乡镇。[2]

2024年1月，范坑乡被命名为「2023年福建省卫生乡镇」。[1]

地理环境[edit]

乡境位于闽浙交界的山区，平均海拔615米，山脉与溪坑纵横，村庄散布其间。乡政府网站载全乡幅员108平方公里，南北与东西跨距均在13公里以上。[2]

博雅地名网载面积为54.5平方公里，百度百科载为103.44平方千米，两者与乡政府网站所载不符；此处取乡政府网站的数字。[1][2][4]

境内矿产有辉绿岩、花岗岩和叶蜡石，林地约12.6万亩。[2]

第七次全国人口普查登记，2020年11月1日零时范坑乡常住人口为7107人。[3]

各方统计口径不同：乡政府网站称全乡有6200户、26500人，百度百科载2018年户籍人口22005人。[2][4]

经济[edit]

农业以「两茶一药」为主，即茶叶、油茶和中草药，并兼营畜禽养殖；工业以茶叶的初加工与精加工民营企业为主。[2]

油茶种植历史悠久，曾被周恩来总理题为「绿色油库」。墩头村的「绿色油库」是乡里推重的品牌。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

上坪洋坑桥位于上坪村西面约1公里的洋坑溪上，清乾隆五十六年（1791年）始建，同治七年（1868年）重建。[5]

这是一座单孔木结构廊屋桥，长约24米，廊屋设九开间。博雅地名网称其为福安市第五批市级文物保护单位，2013年2月20日公布。[5]
